Little Silver New Jersey
The town of Little Silver is a very unique place indeed to live in New Jersey. Located near the Shrewsbury River in Eastern Monmouth county NJ, Little Silver has a population of only about 6,000 residents and is only 2.77 square miles. Little Silver has a welcoming small town feel to it. Everything is conveniently located in downtown Little Silver where you can find grocery stores, several pharmacies, post office, several banks, hardware store, Borough Hall, Little Silver Police and Fire departments, Little Silver Library, a variety of restaurants to satisfy any discerning palate as well as specialty shops such as jewelry stores, spas and salons.
There are a number of beautiful parks to visit to enjoy recreational sports such as baseball, soccer, tennis. Relax with a scenic walk or let the kids enjoy the playgrounds at Sickles Park (adjacent to Sickles Garden Center and Market) or Markham Place or Point Road. Take a bicycle ride or hike through the woods of the Little Silver Nature trail and cross over the creek to explore the wildlife. Boating enthusiasts can bring their boats to the public boat launch located off Riverview Road.

At the same time, the Little Silver train station provides for a quick and easy commute into New York City or take the high-speed SeaStreak Ferry from the Highlands right into Wall Street or Midtown, New York!
Schools -- Children in Little Silver begin their education in Point Road Elementary School from K-4 grades and then move on to Markham Place School for 5th through 8th grades. From there, students can go to Red Bank Regional High School which was just named in a recent issue of Newsweek as one of the top 6% high schools in America! There are many other top-rated schools in the Monmouth County school system to choose from for High Technology, Allied Health, Biotechnology, Communications and Marine Academy of Science or one of the prominent private schools in the area.
The town of Little Silver is located southeast of Red Bank, just 4.0 miles east off Exit 109 on the Garden State Parkway.
